The carpentry skills of Steve Way were put to the test to construct this custom built entertainment center. Do not let the out-dated electronics fool you about the quality craftsmanship used to create this custom designed living room centerpiece. Due to the sheer size of this project, the entertainment center was built in place. It was constructed of oak plywood and trim pieces. The bottom section of the entertainment center features four cabinets with custom scribed door panels. Oak was used to create a counter top above the cabinets. The top section of the entertainment center is separated by various sized shelving compartments. The top of the shelves were furnished with crown moulding to bring the whole package together. Once contructed, the entire entertainment center received a coat of wood stain and two clear coats of wood sealer. The wood stain was mixed to match the natural wood finish of the trim and moulding in the rest of the home.
